Public Information Meetings
Three public information meetings will be conducted during the project to introduce the project, identify preliminary design alternatives, and present the preferred design alternative. It is important to note that one public information meeting has already been conducted. The remaining two public information meetings are anticipated to be three-hour meetings conducted in person at a central location. The meeting format will include a pre-recorded presentation, exhibit boards, and staff onsite to answer questions. The project team will be available to answer questions and receive participants’ feedback on alternatives and the proposed improvements.
It is anticipated that Public Information Meeting #2 will provide a review of the project process and project purpose and need, a summary of outreach conducted to date and what was heard (including community survey results), and a summary of alternatives from Public Information Meeting #1. It will also include a summary of alternatives deemed not feasible for the corridor and present any new alternatives that may have been developed since Public Information Meeting #1 based on public and Corridor Advisory Committee feedback. Public Information Meeting #3 is anticipated to provide a final opportunity for community feedback on the preferred alternative, the final impacts, and the pre-final project report for consideration and feedback.
